We are an Interior Design firm.
Our design firm takes a select number of projects per year. Our niche is new construction but we love working with homeowners moving to Maine, who have found an existing property they love. We have been working with clients across the country for years. Our process was perfected during the pandemic of 2020-2022, which allowed for us to really customize specific work to clients in need of a safe and secluded haven.
Most of our projects fall into one of these four categories:
Full-Service Interiors Without Construction: furniture, paint, rugs, art, some custom mill work, and (hopefully!) wallpaper. We have an established, collaborative process that starts with space planning and design, progresses to sourcing and coordinating, and ends with full-service installation of your dream space.
Interiors for Custom New-Build Homes and Full-Scale Remodels: for new construction and remodel projects, we partner with clients and their contractor to establish a clear vision and execute it within the constraints of time and budget. The process is similar to our full-service design projects, but much more involved as we collaborate with contractors and sub-contractors as needed, making ongoing site visits to track progress. We plan, select, source, and install each piece of the design, resulting in a beautiful, turn-key home.
Collaboration with Builders, Developers, and Architects: the home has been designed, but the team is in need of an interior designer to handle the furnishings, rugs, lighting, etc. in order to complete a magazine-worthy space.
Distance or Virtual Design: available for select projects. We work nationally depending on the project scope.

Vanessa Helmick
Owner | Principal Interior Designer, CLIPP™ Certified
With 19 years of experience in the building, design & furnishings industry, Vanessa is the creative force behind Fiore Home, blending her passion for nature-inspired design with a modern, practical approach. CLIPP™ certified and raised near a national park, her love for the natural world shaped her design ethos long before biophilic and organic modern styles became trends. Vanessa’s design work is unpretentious, textured, and warm, prioritizing durability and comfort for homes that are truly lived in.
Vanessa’s journey into interiors began with curiosity and a love for cultural anthropology, eventually leading her to study interior design in Southern California. She moved to Maine in 2010 and has become the go to designer for clients moving across the country as she understands both logistics and oversees whole-house projects. She specializes in delivering waterfront second homes that thoughtfully reflect each client’s unique aesthetic and lifestyle.
In 2017, she opened her showroom, a curated space designed to better serve her design clients.
Erica BARCLAY ANTIOCO
Design Manager, PMP® Certified
With a multidisciplinary background in arts, tech, and design, Erica brings creativity, precision, and a solutions-driven approach to every project. As a PMP®-certified project manager, she expertly balances functionality and style, ensuring teams stay on track and on budget—whether working within traditional or agile frameworks. After four years at a Denver design firm, she’s honed her skills in crafting spaces that are as practical as they are beautiful, with kitchens being her favorite to design, inspired by her love of cooking and hosting plant-based dinner parties. A natural planner and problem-solver, Erica thrives on tackling complex challenges, mapping out clear paths forward, and rallying teams to bring projects to life.
When she’s not organizing workflows or brainstorming solutions, you’ll find Erica experimenting in the kitchen, practicing yoga, exploring the outdoors, or renovating her farmhouse.
Grace bingham
Interior Design Assistant, OSHA Certified | IIDA, ASID, IFDA Member
A Maine native, Grace is set to graduate from High Point University with a B.S. in Interior Design. She brings creativity, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to her role at Fiore Home. Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite, she combines her design talents with strong project management capabilities. As an OSHA-certified professional and member of IIDA, ASID, and IFDA, Grace has refined her craft by managing high-end residential projects, coordinating with vendors, and developing detailed design plans. Her knack for streamlining processes and collaborating with teams along with an incredible work ethic ensures every project runs seamlessly and meets the highest standards.
Liz Freeman
Furniture Store Goddess
With a background in home staging and interior redesign, Liz has a keen eye for detail and a knack for transforming spaces. She is known for being the face of the showroom where she guides customers with her deep knowledge of furniture and design. Always down to earth with a listening ear, she thrives when she is making houses into homes.
When Liz is not managing the showroom, or creating hilarious and memorable social media posts for Fiore Home, you can find her acting, screenwriting, film making and modeling.
Ellie Rio Burgess
Marketing Wiz
With a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design and over a decade of experience across various industries, Ellie brings a thoughtful, and creative approach to Fiore Home’s marketing efforts. She works diligently behind the scenes designing eye-catching graphics, crafting email campaigns, social media, and improving the website. Additionally, Ellie coordinates initiatives supporting Fiore Home's nonprofit charities, ensuring their missions are effectively promoted and supported.
When she’s not collaborating with and supporting the design and retail teams, Ellie enjoys creating art, exploring new places, and curling up in a blanket with a good book.
